Brilliant golden straw in color, this Gewurztraminer bursts with expressive aromas of lychee, rose petals, ripe peach, apricot, and orange blossom accented by hints of ginger and exotic spice. Richly textured yet beautifully balanced, the palate delivers flavors of tropical fruit, honeyed citrus, and delicate floral notes supported by refreshing acidity. The finish is long, smooth, and intensely aromatic without becoming overly sweet. Elegant and expressive, it showcases the classic perfume and vibrant fruit that have made Alsace Gewurztraminer world renowned.

This aromatic white pairs beautifully with Thai curries, Vietnamese cuisine, Indian dishes, glazed ham, roast pork, and richly flavored poultry. It also complements Munster cheese, washed-rind cheeses, foie gras, and fruit-based desserts featuring peaches or apricots. Its exotic aromatics and vibrant acidity make it an exceptional partner for spicy cuisine and savory-sweet flavor combinations.

Founded in 1836 in the picturesque village of Bergheim, Gustave Lorentz is one of Alsace's oldest and most respected family-owned wineries. For seven generations, the Lorentz family has cultivated vineyards throughout northeastern France, producing wines that faithfully express the region's remarkable terroir. Alsace's cool continental climate, sheltered by the Vosges Mountains, enjoys one of the driest growing seasons in France, allowing grapes to ripen slowly while retaining vibrant acidity and intense aromatics. The region's diverse mosaic of limestone, granite, sandstone, and clay soils contributes exceptional complexity to its wines.

Today, Gustave Lorentz farms many of its vineyards sustainably while maintaining a philosophy centered on precision, elegance, and varietal purity. Gewurztraminer has long been one of Alsace's signature grapes, prized for its intensely aromatic character and remarkable ability to balance richness with freshness. The Réserve collection highlights carefully selected fruit that showcases the winery's commitment to quality and the distinctive personality of Alsace. The result is a beautifully expressive wine that reflects nearly two centuries of family tradition while remaining fresh, vibrant, and unmistakably regional.
