It has earned the moniker \u201cThe King of Wines and the Wine of Kings,\u201d and for good reason.\u00a0 It offers complexity, flavor, nuance, and power, and it comes in a variety of styles, both modern and traditional.\u00a0 <strong>Luigi Pira<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/querciola-barbera-d-alba-doc-2012.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Querciola<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/revello-barolo-2010.htm?catid=963\" target=\"_blank\">Revello<\/a><\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/seghesio-barolo-2008.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Seghesio<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Renato Corino<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/silvio-grasso-barolo-2011.htm?catid=1043\" target=\"_blank\">Silvio Grasso<\/a>, <\/strong>and<strong> Vietti<\/strong> are prime producers of Barolo who consistently offer high quality and value.\u00a0 And not surprisingly, they also fashion some of Italy\u2019s finest <strong>Barbera and Dolcetto, <\/strong>the Piedmont\u2019s other exceptional red varietals.\u00a0 <strong>La Morandina<\/strong> from nearby Asti and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/stefano-farina-langhe-le-brume-2011.htm?catid=1139\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Stefano Farina<\/strong><\/a> also turn out first rate Piedmontese Barbera and red blends.<\/p>\n<p>Although red wines dominate the wine scene in Piedmont and garner the most international attention, the white wines of Piedmont reign as some of Italy\u2019s finest. <strong>Arneis<\/strong> and <strong>Gavi<\/strong> are the region\u2019s most elegant and traditional dry white wines.\u00a0 Neither receives much, if any, oak barrel ageing, and they are the better for it.\u00a0 Elegance, subtlety, pinpoint minerality and laser like precision are hallmarks of these varietals.\u00a0 <strong>La Scolca<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/stefano-massone-vigneto-masera-gavi-2013.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Massone Stefano<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winemonthclub.com\/ottosoldi-gavi-docg-2015.htm?catid=1139\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Ottosoldi<\/strong> <\/a>are trusted producers of Gavi, while <strong>Ceretto<\/strong>
