\"pietra-santa-cienega-valley-sangiovese-2010\"<\/a>In September, The International Wine of the Month Club\u2019s Premier Series<\/a> features four special offerings, two of which are from Cienega Valley\u2019s Pietra Santa Vineyards.\u00a0 This month includes Pietra Santa\u2019s award-winning 2010 Estate Sangiovese<\/a>, which recently received 91 points from Wine Enthusiast<\/a>, and the 2014 Pietra Santa Estate Chardonnay<\/a>, a rare, highly allocated Chardonnay that\u2019s making its first appearance with The International Wine of the Month Club.\u00a0 For several years, we have been trying to secure enough of Pietra Santa\u2019s elegant Macon-style Chardonnay, and we\u2019ve finally been able to procure just enough to satisfy our membership.\u00a0 Also on tap this month is the 2014 Valle Secreto Key Cabernet Sauvignon Carmen\u00e8re<\/a>.\u00a0 Bring on the barbecue and light the grill for this tasty blend.\u00a0 Finally, to round out September\u2019s line-up, we recommend beginning an evening or event with the 2014 Bisci Verdicchio Matelica<\/a> from the Marche\u2019s finest producer.\u00a0 It makes a great aperitif and provides the ideal complement to seafood.<\/p>\n

\"Domaine-du-Grand-Tinel-Chateauneuf-du-Pape-NV\"<\/a>This month, The International Wine of the Month\u2019s Collectors Series<\/a> is proud to offer the 2012 Stolpman Vineyards Ballard Canyon Estate Syrah<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to imagine a better Syrah, and its 94 point score from Wine Enthusiast<\/a> will attest to that fact.\u00a0 Equally compelling is the 2014 Sigalas Santorini Assyrtiko<\/a> from one of the oldest and most distinctive grape varieties on earth.\u00a0 The extremely rare, 100% Sigalas Santorini Assyrtiko is the finest white wine we have ever tasted from Greece.\u00a0 Last, but certainly not least, is the 2012 Domaine du Grand Tinel Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/a>, which scored 91 points<\/strong> from Wine Advocate.\u00a0 <\/strong>A classic Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape from an outstanding vintage, Grand Tinel is one of the finest and most consistent producers of Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape.\u00a0\u00a0 Looking ahead to October, we will feature the outstanding, highly allocated 2010 Vinyes del Terrer Nus del Terrer,<\/strong> a profound blend of Garnacha (Grenache) and Cabernet Sauvignon from a tiny vineyard in northern Spain.\u00a0 This is just one of many exciting, upcoming features.\u00a0 Enjoy!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
