\"cru-appellation-series-santa-lucia-highlands-chardonnay-2011\"<\/a>In August The International Wine of the Month Club\u2019s Premier Series features four exceptional offerings, including the 2011<\/strong> Cru Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay<\/strong><\/a> and the just released 2014 Ch\u00e2teau Eulalie Plaisir d\u2019Eulalie<\/a><\/strong> from Minervois<\/strong>.\u00a0 In past vintages, Madame Coustal\u2019s Plaisir d\u2019Eulalie Minervois from France\u2019s oldest wine producing region has been a perennial favorite with club members.\u00a0 For the record, Madame Coustal\u2019s 2014 Plaisir already drinks beautifully and looks to be one of her finest Plaisirs to date.\u00a0 Wine lovers will also want to check out this month\u2019s two Spanish wine offerings, the 2012 Bodegas Ayles Barrica Garnacha<\/a><\/strong> and the 2013 Nidia Rueda Verdejo.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"yardstick-ruth's-reach-napa-valley-cabernet-sauvignon-2012\"<\/a>This month, our Collectors Series members won\u2019t want to miss Nick Goldschmidt\u2019s<\/strong> 2012 Yardstick Ruth\u2019s Reach Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong><\/a>, a wine by which many other Napa Valley Cabernets will be measured.\u00a0 Yardstick<\/strong> is made by Goldschmidt Vineyards<\/strong>, which produces an elite group of limited release Cabernet Sauvignons from single sites.\u00a0 It earned it a 90-point rating score and Gold Medal from The Tasting Panel magazine (Anthony Diaz Blue).\u00a0 \u00a0The limited, highly allocated 2014 Joseph Chromy Tasmania Chardonnay<\/a><\/strong> and the 2013 Nugan Alfredo Dried Grape Shiraz<\/a>,<\/strong> a special wine akin to the great Amarone wines of Italy\u2019s Veneto, both make their debut with The International Wine of the Month Club in August.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, September promises more outstanding wines, including the 2012 Stolpman Vineyard Ballard Canyon Syrah, 2012 Domaine Grand Tinel Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape <\/strong>and Greece\u2019s most compelling white wine from the enchanted island of Santorini – the 2014 Sigalas Santorini Assyrtiko.\u00a0 <\/strong>Enjoy!<\/strong><\/p>\n
