“TWO separate weekends, November 22-24 or December 6-8, 2013 - Go to your assigned starting winery and begin a weekend of fun and festivities while sampling holiday wines and food tastings. The wineries are decorated for the holiday season. Over the two day weekend event, visit the participating wineries, receive a recipe book and collect ornaments to decorate your handmade grapevine wreath. These events are both co-sponsored by The Christmas House, located in nearby Elmira, NY.”

Niagara Wine Trail, NY – Holiday Happening
“Celebrate the Season! Collect a different ornament* at each winery on the trail to complete your set. This year's ornament theme is the Nutcracker Ballet! Collect a different ornament at each of the participating wineries for a complete set that is suitable for hanging on your tree or decorating with. Event tickets valid are for each day of the event, so feel free to spread your wine tasting out over the two weekends. Please retain your ticket and wine glass if attending multiple days. Price includes: 3 tastes of wine at each of the participating wineries, a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery, and a different ornament from each winery. Does not include transportation, please make your own arrangements if necessary.”

New Smyrna Beach, FL – Norwood’s Annual Wine Festival
“Norwood's Restaurant and Wine Shop has become known as the place to be the first weekend in December. This year, beginning on December 6th, and with events on December 7th and 8th Norwood’s will be host to the 18th Annual Holiday Food & Wine Festival. Central Floridians make their way to New Smyrna for this gala event each year to take part in this area's largest, most elegant, yet unpretentious wine festival in the South. This year, the weekend's festivities start out with our customary Wine Tasting Evening, 7 - 9:30 pm Friday, December 6th. Elegant foods combined with 90 of the "Best of the Best" Award winning wines, Martini bar, premium Bourbons, Absente, Beer promise to create the perfect combination for an unforgettable evening. Saturday's main event, the Grand Tasting, from 1 – 4:30 pm, has something wonderful for everyone! Wine lovers can sample over 400 wines from around the world and enjoy delicious food and desserts. “Livermore Valley Wine Country celebrates the season with a weekend full of holiday cheer! Holidays in the Vineyards is an annual wine country tradition where wineries showcase their tasting rooms with arts and craft vendors, special wines, festive activities, Santa visits, carolers and more. Guests are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys or monetary donations to their favorite wineries. All toys and donations will be donated to the Pleasanton-Livermore Fire Association's Toys for Tots Program after the event, directly benefitting children in need throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.”

Meet winemakers, wine grape growers and other wine enthusiasts while tasting award-winning artisan wines in the down-to-earth atmosphere of the Sierra Foothills. Admission is Free with Toy Donation: Start your tour at any participating winery. Just bring a new, unwrapped child’s toy to donate for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Toy Drive and wine tasting at ALL 19 participating wineries is FREE for the day (cash donations will also be accepted in lieu of a toy).”
