Wine Glossary Index
Welcome to The International Wine of the Month Club's Wine Glossary. Over the years we've spoken to many of our members who have inquired with us regarding the specific meaning of certain tasting terms they've seen in our monthly newsletters or in other publications. Others have contacted us to see if we could provide more information on certain styles of wine that they've enjoyed or the regions from which they've hailed. Some members have even asked for our expertise in settling wine related debates among their friends! So, to help shed some light on some of these topics and to clear up some of the confusion that results from so much (often contradictory) information about the topic of wine being disseminated through so many varied sources, we've compiled the following glossary covering common tasting terminology, types of wine, popular grape varietals, and important wine-producing regions. It is part of our ongoing quest to help make wine approachable and enjoyable for all! Salute!
